‘For such a time as this’ - #7
1. Do we __________Him faithful? He does not fail, forget, falter, or vacillate.
Lam. 3:21-23 21 Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: 22 Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
2. _______________yourself & call it to mind: Great is His faithfulness!
3. It’s our _____________________________ something good for America.
4. So what do we do about it?
James 3:9-10
9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
God is _________________ - because He is faithful and true. Isn’t it time for His church to rise to the occasion “for such as time as this.”
1 Tim. 2:1-4
1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
What does this mean for us as the church?
5. For such a time as this: ‘_____________________ continually.’
6. Does ____________________________________ to pray?
Matt. 7:7-11
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
